I bet we are the only one that will ask if they are doing a high oblique sit! 😂 This is actually an important baby step towards sitting independently and crawling.
For each and every major milestone there are several leading up to it. As part of our baby assessments (usually 2 months to 18 months) we include all of the major and minor steps to make sure they are hitting them all.
Each of those steps plays an important role in the development of how their brain talks to their body.
