VBAC

VBAC

Are you a momma who has previously had a cesarean? Did you know that if you’d like to have a vaginal delivery with your next baby, that you do have that option?

For quite some time now there has been a belief that once a momma has a cesarean, she is no longer eligible to choose have a vaginal delivery, or that it’s too dangerous for her and the baby if she would make that choice--our current understanding is that with the right provider and environment, it is not only a choice, but also can be a safer option as well.

Just like in a primary vaginal delivery, there are things you can do to physically prepare your body to more easily birth your baby, with a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) there are steps you can take to put yourself in the best possible place going into your laber. We partner with with lots of moms that are planning to do a TOLAC (trial of labor after cesarean) in preparation for their VBAC, and it’s one of our favorite things to do (we say that a lot, we have lots of favorites!) ha.

Next Tuesday night, we are hosting our VBAC class at Good Life Birth Place, and would love it if you would join us. You will leave the class with information on how to best put together your birth team, a daily exercise (10 min) a day that you can do to prepare your body, as well as some possible approaches for mentally and spiritually navigating your pregnancy and birth as well.

We would love it if you’d join us. (Link in profile) Also, please share with any friends or family you feel would be interested in this info.

Thank you! ❤️🙏🏻
