Taking a little bit of my own advice today π¬π€·π»ββοΈ and taking some time to take care of myself. We do what we can around here between eating well, sleeping well (Leland has been sleeping through the night ππΌππΌ), and of course getting adjusted (I shoot for weekly), but between running a business and being a mom, sometimes it helps to have a little help!
Have you ever heard of floating?
@lostinfloat just opened here in Lincoln and is another great resource to include in your family's health care toolbox. Floating is shown to affect so many things. The easiest way to describe it is it helps us create a state that is similar to mediation or deep relaxation for a sustained period of time. I don't know about you, but meditating for 60min would be a big challenge for me right now.
I would say it takes a little bit to get used to, but even with it being my first time, I would still say it feels like I had a pretty solid mini vacation in the middle of my day. My muscles feel relaxed, and I feel focused.
They also offer cryotherapy βοΈ which I'll be trying shortly too. I'll report back!
